U13 AAA Oilers Cup Thanksgiving Classic

Announcing the Inaugural Hockey Edmonton U13 AAA Oilers Cup Thanksgiving Classic Tournament!

Hockey Edmonton is thrilled to unveil the revamped and inaugural Hockey Edmonton - U13 AAA Oilers Cup Thanksgiving Classic Tournament taking place from October 10-14, 2024! This tournament marks the beginning of an exciting new tradition, offering top-tier competition and a unique opportunity for young athletes.

The stakes are high—the winning team will earn the chance to attend the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament (financial commitment required). This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young players to showcase their talent on a global stage!

Every team in the tournament is guaranteed five full-length games, with all matchups happening at Bill Hunter Arena (9200 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5R 0A7).

If your team is ready to be part of this exciting event, be sure to RSVP by August 25, 2024. With only 10 spots available, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so act fast! The tournament entry fee is $2,800 (including tax), and payment details will be provided upon official acceptance. Payments can be made via cheque or e-transfer to Hockey Edmonton.

We’re also proud to use this tournament to support and promote the new U13 AAA pilot model. The October 10-14 weekend has been blacked-out in the AEHL schedule to ensure full participation and make this event the highlight of the season. Our goal is to create an attractive opportunity that keeps talented players in our programs and league.
